the way for slide the top, and open

sections for how to make the slide visualized,
there are 2 ways. One, top is bigger, like 2

ASSIGNMENT 5 - Progress 1.5

After the discussion last time, my responsibility is to design the packaging. Obviously, the packaging and branding as well as the display should have some combination with each other. However, personally, I would like to just uses graphic terms make them correlated. Color, logo, as well as the concept can be similar, but I think they still need some distinction from each other.

Sketches for packaging, because before we discussed with Eli, we focuses more on diving, then after the talk and conversation for the whole group, we turned the purpose object on aviation one for we will insist the garage door idea which is more like the pilots airplane gate.

We also need to think about the circulation for the booth, because it stands in a open area which customers could walking and looking around.

Required the shop capable for 4 people at least at the same time.

The most amazing part for the display is the apply for new media. I really love it and I hope the final model could show in a very good way for this.

Given the packaging work, here is my sketches of thoughts and the first study model I made:

idea comes from the display, solid walls, also
the windows along in the wall.

ASSIGNMENT 5 - Progress 1

Ideas Inspiration: Sketches

Keyword: Garage door, pilot, beam, aviation

We came up with the idea for the display first, it's a 10 *10 *12 small space. So it's just fit for the small object watch.

Announcement for the brand, this is a luxury professional watch, so the display's quantity shouldn't be too much, this problem similar to my display for my ring-watch, just like prof. Leshisky said, too much would deduce the watches value.

ASSIGNMENT 5 - group work

Our group is four people. Eliana, Crystal and Shira...sorry I don't know if my spell is correct.

Object is a watch, before that we have a debate for the object, and we got the message that we couldn't uses the branding and package that we designer during the semester, finally! We made the choice to do - WATCH!
This brand designed for the aviation and diving people. Who do this extreme sports, really need a professional watch.

Since Crystal has one diving watch, we will all focusing on diving watch for branding, packaging and display.

Here are some watches just for show:

Final!Newly Arrived!

Final one!! In the square, there're 6 hands with gestures. The shape of the people standing aside could give you a better understanding for the scale of my model. Also I reinforces the poster I designed for the BRANDING project to make some interaction into the project - ring watch.

I really like it AND the most important is - I had fun in making it! Spending much time for trying different materials and finish!

Progress on HAND model! for display

Finally!! I find some way for making hands.
Though I didn't take the advises for the other classmates, I bought the paper mache, clay, sparkle pigment...*&@$!
In the end, I use my cellphone's battery for the palms, and the pens for the fingers. Screw them with copper wire. Make them stick together is not easy, pliers is really helpful.

Final coming soon!!
